The Harp and the Shadow draws from Alejo Carpentier’s novel. It evokes veiled mysteries of the past, ambiguity of judgments, and diverse perspectives. Carpentier’s magical realism inspires my metaphorical approach to form. I prioritize art’s timeless spiritual dimension, inviting contemplative viewing without imposed meanings. My goal is a dialogue between viewer and painting, exploring form, color, and title – delving into the essence of things through maximal synthesis. The motto: if you seek depth, you will find it.
